WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown Friday announced that Dayton-Wright Brothers Airport has been awarded $225,000 by the U.S. Department of Transportation for crack repair and seal coating of Runway 2/20 to preserve its structural integrity and reduce debris.

“This federal investment is great news for the region and will enhance safety at Dayton-Wright Brothers Airport,” Brown said. “These runway improvements will go a long way in sustaining travel in and out of the airport for area residents and businesses.”
