WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that Fairfield County Airport has been awarded $ 202,928 by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to install a visual guidance system for Runway 10/28 and to fund a wildlife hazard assessment.

“This federal investment is great news for the region and will enhance safety at Fairfield County Airport,” Brown said. “These improvements will go a long way in sustaining travel in and out of the airport for area residents and businesses.”
