WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that Gallia-Meigs Regional Airport in Gallipolis has been awarded $473,236 by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to improve airport drainage in relation to stormwater runoff.

“This is great news for Gallia and Meigs Counties,” Brown said. “These improvements will enhance operations at Gallia-Meigs Regional Airport. These federal dollars will go a long way in sustaining travel in and out of the airport for area residents and businesses.”
