WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that The Ohio State University Airport in Columbus has been awarded $38,977 by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to repair the pavement of the T-Hangar taxiway and the east apron to maintain their structural integrity.

“This is great news for Columbus,” Brown said. “These improvements will enhance safety at The Ohio State University Airport. These federal dollars will go a long way in sustaining travel in and out of the airport for area residents and businesses.”

Ohio State University Airport is a general aviation reliever airport for the Port Columbus International Airport.
