WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) met this week with Dr. Robert Juhasz, the President-Elect for the American Osteopathic Association, a professional organization for doctors of osteopathic medicine (DOs). Dr. Juhasz, who will be inducted on July 19, also serves as President of South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights. Brown met with Dr. Juhaz at his weekly coffee with constituents in Washington, D.C.

“It was an honor to meet with Dr. Robert Juhasz,” Brown said. “His selection as the new President of the American Osteopathic Association is a testament to the high-quality of physicians serving Ohio.”

The American Osteopathic Association has the authority to certify DOs, accredit osteopathic medical schools, and accredit hospitals and other health care facilities. The organization advocates for public health and scientific research in the field of osteopathy.
