WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) met this week with Dr. Beverly Reigle of West Chester, who is an associate professor of nursing at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Nursing.

“Nurses provide much more than medical care. They are a trusted source of compassion and support for patients,” said Brown. “With an aging population in Ohio and across the United States, educating a new generation is more important than ever. I was please to meet Dr. Reigle who is helping to encourage more young people to enter the nursing profession.”

Dr. Reigle was in Washington, D.C. with the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses, which supports and funds projects to address the clinical practice, educational, and administrative dimensions of rehabilitation nursing.
