OHIO INTERNSHIPS

Interns in my Ohio offices work on a wide range of projects with my staff. In the Ohio offices interns will spend time speaking with constituents on the phone or at special events, respond to Ohioans' requests & concerns, and assist staff with casework requests.

FAQS

Is there an age requirement to be an intern?

Our internships are designed primarily for the educational benefit of students currently enrolled in college. In our State offices, high school students (working on a senior project) and rising college freshmen are also eligible to apply for internships.

Is the internship paid?

There are a limited number of paid internships available in my DC and state offices. We offer financial assistance based on need, which all interns are given the opportunity to apply for.

Can I get college credit for my internship?

That will depend on your college or university. We will work with you to gain college credit if it is offered through your school, as the internship is meant to be an educational experience.
