Brown backs Tax Fairness Act

Van Wert Times Bulletin
With Tax Day just around the corner, Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown declared his support for a bill that would allow property taxes to be deducted from federal income tax returns, even if deductions are not itemized.
Brown also released estimates showing that 4,632 homeowners in Van Wert County would be able to save more than $4.9 million in tax deductions under the bill.

That's why I am supporting the Homeowner Tax Fairness Act to expand and make permanent property tax relief for individuals who do not itemize their federal income tax deductions."
