Sen. Sherrod Brown doesn't mind being called a "pest" when it comes to his efforts to win federal assistance for thousands of DHL air-cargo workers losing their jobs because the company is closing its hub in Wilmington, Ohio.

So the Ohio Democrat was happy last week to announce that the Department of Labor has approved a $3.87 million emergency grant to aid Wilmington workers in training for and finding new jobs.
