WASHINGTON, D.C. — Hundreds of businesses in Ohio, as well as many more across the country, could have export operations hurt if Congress doesn’t reauthorize a bill set to expire in the fall.

U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, said Wednesday the country’s economy is getting better, but still has a long way to go. He added continued financing of the Export-Import Bank is critical for providing jobs and competing with other countries.
