Sen. Sherrod Brown and others are tilling up new farming-related legislation.

Brown alongside two Republicans and a Democrat have introduced legislation to improve federal conservation programs and support farmers by refocusing federal investment to improve water quality and soil health, and do it all, as Brown's office claims, "while also maintaining profitable farmland."

“This bipartisan bill is good for farmers, it’s good for taxpayers, and it’s good for water quality and the environment,” said Brown.
