U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) visited the General Mills production facility in Jackson County Thursday where he met with workers and factory leadership, and toured the Jackson County plant.
“Too often, we buy food at the grocery store without thinking about where it is grown or produced,” Brown said. “The workers at this production facility remind us of the hard work and commitment that goes into the food we eat each day – and the local jobs this industry supports in Ohio. I’m glad General Mills is working with my office to help Ohio’s next generation see the manufacturing jobs available to them.”
