CFD Receives Nearly $300K in Grant Funding

The Chillicothe Fire Department has been awarded almost $300,000 in U.S. Department of Homeland Security Assistance to Firefighters Grant funding.

Ohio's U.S. senators, Sherrod Brown and George Voinovich, made the announcement Wednesday afternoon that Chillicothe was one of 37 Ohio fire departments to share in $3.559 million awarded to the state in the latest round of grant funding. The exact amount awarded to Chillicothe was $292,500.
