Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center got a federal grant last week of $1.39 million through the Children's Hospitals Graduate Medical Education Payment Program – the legislative baby of Sen. Sherrod Brown.

The Ohio Democrat announced the grant last week: "This is excellent news for Cincinnati families and their children. Children's healthcare requires doctors and hospitals that specialize in pediatrics.
