U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown said Congress is poised to pass the largest expansion of student aid in the nation's history.
Brown, D-Ohio, said the legislation is part of the provisions the U.S. Senate is expected to pass this week after the legislation was paired with the health care reform package signed by President Barack Obama.
