Corps to spend $2.1M on Cincinnati flood control

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will spend $2.1 million on flood control in Cincinnati’s central riverfront. Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown said the money will be used to bolster downtown development projects, including the Banks and Cincinnati’s Riverfront Park project.

 

“This park will not only connect Great American Ballpark and Paul Brown Stadium, it will create jobs and economic activity now and in the future,” Brown said in a news release.
