WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) hosted a news conference call Wednesday as he is set to host the fourth annual “Women’s Leadership Summit: Together We Rise” at Xavier University on Saturday, Oct. 6th.
Brown will join several southwest Ohio business and community partners at the one-day program which will shine a light on the good work women are doing in southwest Ohio to uplift their communities.
“This conference will help connect women who want to make a difference with opportunities to get involved, and allow them to make connections with other women who care about these issues,” said Brown.
Brown was joined on today’s call by Hannah Jacobs from Crawford County, who attended last year’s conference with her mother and sister, and is set to attend this year’s conference, as well.
