Once again, Ohio Sens. Sherrod Brown and George Voinovich want to toss a life preserver to overwhelmed communities facing double-digit sewer cost increases in the next five years.
This time, the entire Ohio delegation ought to pitch in to give Congress a push.
Brown and Voinovich want the federal government to contribute $1.8 billion over the next five years to help communities pay for federally mandated sewer upgrades. The feds pay 75 percent; the communities pay 25 percent.
