Thriving industry, well-trained workers, a booming economy.
Who doesn't want that?

It's the goal of the Ohio Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Learning Network, a public-private partnership aimed at preparing today's students for tomorrow's jobs in the STEM fields.

It's the goal of the Regional Healthcare Workforce Development Project at Lakeland Community College that will include classrooms, labs, equipment and development of a Health Information Technology Associates Degree program.

Add SECTORS to that mix.

The Strengthening Employment Clusters to Organize Regional Success Act championed by U.S. Sens. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, and Olympia Snowe, R-Maine, provides funding for workers seeking specialized training in emerging industries.
