ZANESVILLE - Mayor Howard Zwelling pitched a plan Monday night to make more than $1 million in improvements to Secrest Auditorium, Gant Municipal Stadium and a new skatepark.
While City Council members made little noise about the skatepark and stadium proposals, concerns were raised about the plans for Secrest Auditorium.
And Council President Ralph Hennessey seemed less than enthusiastic about taking on another $1 million loan for the projects. The ordinance to take on the projects was held to first reading.
