Lawmakers reintroduce bill to help veterans exposed to toxic burn pits

 U.S. Reps. Tim Ryan of Howland, D-13th, and Brian Mast, R-Fla., along with U.S. Sens. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, and Rob Portman, R-Ohio, reintroduced legislation to help veterans who have been harmed by exposure to toxic burn pits. 

The bicameral, bipartisan bill, the SFC Heath Robinson Burn Pit Transparency Act, is named in honor of Heath Robinson, a central Ohio veteran who died last year and was exposed to burn pits while deployed.
