NASA Glenn Research Center should fare well under Obama's space plan

Not only will NASA Glenn Research Center's next budget be bigger if Congress approves President Barack Obama's new space exploration plans, but it should keep growing thereafter.

That's what Charles Bolden, who heads all of NASA, told Sen. Sherrod Brown during a phone conversation earlier today, according to comments Sen. Brown made during a press conference at NASA Glenn.

The comments reassured Sen. Brown, D-Ohio, that the research-focused center won't need to worry about returning to the days when steady job losses were the norm.
