U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown will announce new legislation Tuesday he says will ease the nation’s infrastructure deficit and provide for the repair of critical projects, a television station is reporting.

Brown is holding a news conference to outline a bill that would create a national infrastructure bank to provide loans and loan guarantees for critical infrastructure projects of national importance —like the Brent Spence Bridge—that create jobs, increase economic competitiveness, bolster exports, and encourage foreign investment, WXIX-TV (Fox 19 News) is reporting.
