WASHINGTON – Both of Ohio’s senators will be at the White House tomorrow to talk tax reform.
Sens. Rob Portman and Sherrod Brown will be at the White House mid-day, part of a group of senators making the trip to talk about tax reform.
Both are members of the Senate Finance Committee, which has jurisdiction over tax laws. Portman, R-Ohio, supports a tax reform effort that shrinks the current seven tax brackets to three. The plan would double the standard deduction for families and increase the Child Tax Credit. He’ll also push plans to reform the international tax code to end incentives to send U.S. jobs overseas.Ohio’s senators will talk tax reform with Trump on Wednesday »
