Three of the Buckeye State's biggest political names are throwing their support behind an effort to keep the NCAA First Four in Dayton.

In a letter dated Wednesday, U.S. Rep.Mike Turner, R-Dayton, and U.S. SenatorsSherrod Brown (D) and Rob Portman (R) came together to urge NCAA PresidentMark Emmert to keep the event at theUniversity of Dayton through 2018. UD Arena has hosted the opening round of the college basketball tournament since 2001 — which changed to the expanded First Four format in 2011.
