OBERLIN — Some Lorain County JVS students will have an impressive way to show future employers their experience. “You know that farmhouse in front of the JVS? I helped renovate that,” they could say.

The 1903 farmhouse, which will now be used as an office and warehouse space for NASA’s Central Operation of Resources for Educators, was dedi­cated in a ceremony Tuesday after­noon along with the new Precision Machine Technology Lab. U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Avon, and astronaut Michael Foreman, an Ohio native who works at NASA Glenn Research Center, gave keynote speeches. U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur, D-Toledo, and state Sen. Sue Morano, D-Lorain, also spoke.
