WASHINGTON D.C. - According to an article by FoxToledo.com media partner, The Sandusky Register, Put-in-Bay will receive more than $2.2 million in competitive grants for boating infrastructure projects according to an announcement made today by U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio.
The new federal funds were awarded through a competitive process at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Boating Infrastructure Grant (BIG) program.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources will partner with Put-in-Bay to match the $2.2 million allocation.
