A Columbus group is stepping in to prevent neighborhoods being hit hard by foreclosures to keep the vacated houses in good shape and put them in good hands.
Columbus Housing Partners is displaying its efforts Monday to U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D) Ohio, who points to CHP's work as an example of what can be done with federal dollars. The Senator is trying to head of a predicted veto of a bill that would continue efforts of groups like CHP.
Senator Brown will join CHP 's Amy Klaben in touring a neighborhood on 21st Street in Columbus.
