Thousands lined Olde Eight Road in Northfield Center on Memorial Day for the annual parade. At around 11 a.m. many in that crowd had moved to the Northfield-Macedonia Cemetery for the annual memorial observance. The keynote speaker this year was U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown.
