CLEVELAND - Sen. Sherrod Brown announced Wednesday that the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) grant program awarded $4,332,247 to the Cleveland and Cuyahoga Heights Fire Departments.

The Cleveland Fire Department will receive $3,482,937 and the Cuyahoga Heights Fire Department will be given $849,310.

The funds will be used to improve response times to fires and fire-related situations.
