ZANESVILLE — U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown held a roundtable discussion Wednesday with community action officials at the Muskingum Economic Opportunity Action Group (MEOAG) on Lee Street, touting projected job creation from the federal stimulus for weatherization assistance programs.

The state of Ohio is slated to receive $267 million to be funneled through the Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) Office of Community Services and on to community action agencies to help needy families make insulation and other energy efficiency improvements in the face of rising utility costs.
