U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown met Thursday with five Sandusky area small business owners who benefited from federal stimulus funds.
Brown and Small Business Administration district director Gil Goldberg said recovery funding has bolstered the region.
"The strength of the northwest Ohio small business community is key to rebuilding our middle class," said Brown, D-Ohio. "Today's event shows how critical partnerships forged between small businesses, local banks, and the SBA can stimulate northwest Ohio's economy and protect and create jobs."
