Sen. Brown: Tip proposal could cost workers money

In his telephone press conference Tuesday, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown lashed out at a proposed U.S. Department of Labor rule that could cause workers who depend on tips to lose "billions" of dollars.

Brown said the Department of Labor proposed a rule in December that would allow employers to collect the tips earned by waiters and other workers who earn less than the minimum wage.
