In a conference call today Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Avon) announced the introduction of a green energy manufacturing bill, formulated after holding a series of green energy community roundtables in Athens, Columbus, Cleveland, and Dayton to discuss technological advances in green energy, incentives to spur development, climate change, renewable portfolio standards, and how to capitalize on Ohio’s manufacturing base.
“This is an energy bill. This is a jobs bill. This is an environment bill,” Sen. Brown said. "Today, our economic future depends on green energy development."
