WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown was in Warren Wednesday morning to visit one of the city’s nearly 20 summer food service program sites.
Brown checked out the Laird Community Garden, where anywhere from 45 to 70 children receive nutritious meals each day over the summer.
“We know the need is out there and if there’s barriers that we don’t know about, we’d like to know what they are because we try to get to as many areas as possible and cover them,” he said.
