CLEVELAND - Sen. Sherrod Brown is pushing a bill to make discrimination against the unemployed illegal.
Some call them "discriminatory hiring practices." Sen. Brown (D-Ohio) was in Cleveland Tuesday morning to discuss the situation.
A worker advocacy group called the National Employment Law Project released a report that outlined several businesses from all over the country, including here in Ohio, that were not only weeding out the unemployed but were putting it in the job listings.
