WARREN COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - U.S. Sentor Sherrod Brown announced on Wednesday that new federal resources have been awarded to the Mason Fire Department.

The Mason Fire Department has been awarded resources for staffing by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) SAFER grant program.

The Mason Fire Department was awarded $1,147,986 to hire firefighters and recruit and retain volunteer firefighters.
