Seneca County courthouse renovation projects gets $5 million federal loan

TIFFIN — A $5 million low-interest loan that was expected to pay much of the local share of renovating the 1884 Seneca County Courthouse has been approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D., Ohio) announced Wednesday that USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack had reconsidered Seneca County’s request for federal funding and OK’d the loan for the courthouse renovation.
