U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown wants more federal dollars given to business incubators and the number of communities eligible for the money increased.

Brown, using the Youngstown Business Incubator as his backdrop, announced Friday his intention to introduce a measure this fall that would aid in the creation and expansion of organizations similar to YBI nationwide.

The Business Incubator Promotion Act would ''reach further into the community and embrace more business opportunity and more business startups,'' by providing seed money to distressed communities for the construction of new of expansion of existing business incubators.
