WASHINGTON - Cincinnati is getting $3.5 million in federal stimulus money for energy efficiency and conservation projects, the Obama administration announced Thursday.

That's part of a total $84.2 million going to the state and to Buckeye cities and counties for projects that reduce total energy use and fossil fuel emissions.

"Local leaders will have the flexibility in how they put these resources to work," said Vice President Joe Biden. "But we will hold them accountable for making the investments quickly and wisely to spur the local economy and cut energy use."
