One constant in manufacturing in recent years has been the need to get the next generation interested in the industry.

Summer camps are one way companies and organizations have been reaching out to these young adults, typically letting them get some hands-on experience in making things while also showing them what manufacturing is all about.

In Ohio, some of these camps are independently run, while others are affiliated with a larger effort, like those hosted by U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown's office.
