U.S. Senate committee OKs funding to protect land around Blossom

Federal money could be coming to help fund a plan for a non-profit land conservation organization and Blossom Music Center owners to convey about 600 acres to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

In July 2008, the Ohio state office of The Trust for Public Land announced it would acquire the land surrounding Blossom, which is owned by the Cleveland-based Musical Arts Association, and then convey it to the national park.

Blossom Music Center is located at 1145 W. Steels Corners Road in Cuyahoga Falls.
