WASHINGTON, D.C.—U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown met this week with the Ohio delegation of the National Council of Jewish Women. The group discussed a wide range of issues including immigration, women’s health care, and gun violence protection.
“From domestic issues like health care and homelessness, to immigration and international relations, the Jewish Community has always been part of the public debate,” Brown said. “I will continue to ensure the National Council of Jewish Women’s voice is represented in Congress.”
Recently, Brown spoke with Ohio leaders from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) at the 2013 AIPAC Policy Conference. Brown discussed his call for stronger efforts to support Israel, including legislation that would provide additional surplus U.S. defense resources to Israel.
