WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded $120,600 to the Coshocton County Regional Airport Authority and County Commissioners for upgrades to the Richard Downing Airport.

“The Richard Downing Airport supports tourism and commerce in Coshocton County,” Brown said. “This funding will improve the safety and efficiency of the airport so it can remain a reliable option for the county.”

This grant to the Richard Downing Airport will go toward rehabilitating the airport’s existing apron.
