WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded $450,000 to the Akron-Canton Regional Airport Authority for upgrades to the Akron-Canton Regional Airport

“The Akron-Canton Regional Airport supports tourism and commerce in Summit County,” Brown said. “This funding will improve the safety and efficiency of the airport so it can remain a reliable option for the county.”
