WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded $1,166,175 to the City of New Philadelphia for upgrades to Harry Clever Field Airport.

“The Harry Clever Field Airport supports tourism and commerce in Tuscarawas County,” Brown said. “This funding will improve the safety and efficiency of the airport so it can remain a reliable option for the county.”

This grant to the Harry Clever Field Airport will go toward rehabilitating the airport’s runway.
