WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded $109,989 to the City of Marion for upgrades to the Marion Municipal Airport 

“The Marion Municipal Airport supports tourism and commerce in Marion,” Brown said. “This funding will improve the safety and efficiency of the airport so it can remain a reliable option for the county.”

This grant to the Marion Municipal Airport will go toward the construction of a terminal building.
