Brown Announces Nearly $169,000 in Federal Funds to Improve Airport in Guernsey County

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded $168,891 to the City of Cambridge and Cambridge Area Regional Airport Authority for upgrades to the Cambridge Municipal Airport.

“The Cambridge Municipal Airport supports tourism and commerce in Guernsey County,” Brown said. “This funding will improve the safety and efficiency of the airport so it can remain a reliable option for the county.” 

This grant to the Cambridge Municipal Airport will go toward runway lighting replacements.
