WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced $299,992 in federal funding for the City of Coshocton to make roadway improvements to Otsego Avenue.

“Increased investment in Ohio’s infrastructure puts Ohioans to work and makes our roads more efficient,” Brown said. “This project will improve transportation while increasing opportunities for economic development in Coshocton County.”

The $299,992 grant was awarded by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC). The funding will be used to pave the roadway at full-depth, install catch basins, make other drainage improvements and paint new pavement markings. The project will support approximately 300 new jobs and 512 existing jobs. The Ohio Department of Transportation will carry out the improvements.
