WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded funds to two Medina County Airports. Wadsworth Municipal Airport will receive $663,758 to repair the pavement on Runway 2/20 and Medina Municipal Airport will receive $64,800 to help reconstruct a portion of the North-South Taxiway that has reached the end of its useful life.

“Ohio airports are vital to supporting travel and commerce in the state,” said Brown. “This investment will help to ensure the safety of Medina County’s airports for residents and businesses for years to come.”
